Tell us something about yourself. What is your niche? Why did you start your business?
LeMuse sustainable fashion brand was born 10 years ago. It all started when I became inspired to create comfortable and perfectly fitting clothes that are of minimalist design and come from natural origins. We hold on to the belief that clothing should help you be your gorgeous self and feel pleasant at the same time. In such a manner, LeMuse started out with non-traditional cut designs, the clothing that would easily shift shapes in accordance with the movement of a person wearing the garments. Here in LeMuse, we care a lot about our environment, the people, and our beautiful planet Earth. This is why we only work with natural fabrics. Our production is organized and managed in Lithuania, Europe and we are continuously collaborating with the local tailor shops. Over the course of time, LeMuse became well-known in Lithuania and abroad. Our clients share the same values as our brand: sustainability, caring about the planet, and fair trade.
What type of products do you sell? How does your manufacturing process look like?
LeMuse is creating clothing for women. We believe that every woman is a muse. LeMuse clothing shows the charisma of women. In a distinguishable Nordic and Baltic style, we create minimalistic designs defined by their simplicity. We do not bother to run after the latest trends: instead, we prefer classical and elegant styles that look marvelous every season and never go out of fashion. Many of our designs are of a non-traditional cut, so that LeMuse clothes, a dress, a blouse or a cardigan, adjust to different body lines and hide all imperfections. Also, to give each design a bit of a twist we add a little detail to spice it up: a bow on the shoulder, buttons on the back, an elegant neckline. We believe that clothes should be long-lasting and that natural fabrics are a must. One of our best choices is linen, a perfect material for all seasons, especially the summertime. We are proud to use locally produced Lithuanian linen for the reason that it allows us to make sure that the quality of the material is perfect: it feels nice and cozy on the skin, is very breathable and durable – a linen dress can be your best friend for many years. For the cold season, we recommend the fabulous wool, the way it brings comfort and warmth is almost magical. One wool sweater is enough to save you from unbearably cold winters. For versatility and comfort, we also recommend cotton. If you have a capsule wardrobe, it is important for its pieces to be made from natural fabrics. These items will last long and bring you joy every single day. We are proud to support our community: all LeMuse clothes are produced here in Lithuania. We choose small production houses of 2-3 people with more than 30 years of experience in sewing linen, wool, and cotton clothing exclusively for LeMuse. We support these studios from the beginning. From time to time we start working with new tailor shops as our brand is already 10 years old. They grow with us and have the same beliefs and goals: sustainability, perfection, fair trade, and natural clothing.
What are some challenging aspects of your business? How did you overcome them?
I believe that challenges come in every business. And you can overcome them only by doing. Challenges should not stop you from other steps.
When you overcome challenges you’ll become stronger and your business will grow.

What do you enjoy most about being an entrepreneur? What’s the hardest about it?
I like a lot the possibility to create a brand which I imagine. I can make designs and make all business in a way I believe. I’m very happy that LeMuse has many fans and woman are enjoying LeMuse clothing. For me, it is important to make the most comfortable designs but at the same time, these designs are timeless and natural. I face challenges every day. But all the power I get from my clients who are happy with LeMuse, who enjoying clothing and they feel more special every day.
What are some beginner mistakes you made? What advice or words of inspiration would you like to share?
I would say that when you do something you’ll make mistakes. And it’s normal. You can call these mistakes – lessons. But what is important that you create something beautiful, something that comes from your inside. Something you can share with others and make other people’s life more beautiful and inspiring. I think this is what gives meaning. And in that sense mistakes mean nothing. It is just lessons for improvement.
What inspires you while designing and/or creating new products.
I believe that inspiration comes unexpected and it can come from every moment. Sometimes I get inspired by a charismatic person. Sometimes inspirations are brought by fabric. And sometimes it is memories. I believe that to get the inspiration you have to be calm, relaxed, and observe when these thoughts come. it is very important not to miss them. Very often inspiration comes from LeMuse clients. They are very charismatic women. And when I see them it comes ideas about what should LeMuse next collection should be.
How did you get the background and skills necessary to run this type of business?
As well as my grandmother was a designer in a national fashion house. I spent all my childhood with my grandmother. So I’ve learned a lot from her. How to make patterns, how to create designs. All my life I was creating clothing. But after studies, I started work in the advertising business. I got the idea of how the brand should be created and how to create wanted images. And one day I decided to create my own clothing brand LeMuse. I had all skills to make clothing and knowledge about brand creation. That’s how the LeMuse brand was born.
What are some of the most effective ways in terms of marketing products to your customers?
I believe that the most important is to make the perfect products. If you do so, clients will come back. They will share and after some time you’ll see that there are many new clients. And of course, we use a lot of digital advertising. But the product goes first.
What would you say are the key elements for starting and running a successful online business?
I think about running a successful business you should work a lot. As well as you have to bring a strong team together. People who will share the same values with you. And as well very important to have strong and right values. Which will lead you to the perfect relationship, right rules, and strong company.

How do you personally define business success? Is it money? Freedom? Influence? Creative expression and innovation? Something else?
I think it should be everything you mentioned before. Every business has to have balance. And it should deliver to all people who work there satisfaction. As well it should create a better world for clients.
Describe your day-to-day operation. How do you manage your time?
Most of my day is dedicated to the daily base operations. Working with clients, working with production houses, and creating new products.
Time after time we make photoshoots and introduce new products.
How do you plan on growing your business? What is the biggest impact on your profitability?
LeMuse company is growing every year. We can see that our loyal customers are coming back to us. As well as new clients enjoying our creations. We create 2-3 new collections every year. And we can see that by adding perfect products we can grow our business step by step.
