… Cocktail Critters focuses on hard enamel lapel pins, fashioned from gold/silver/black-plated metal. All of the designs are my own, from sketching to illustrating, to prototyping and approvals with my manufacturing team. My products focus on a unique combination of popular modern and traditional cocktails, with animals from around the world.

… I currently only have one listing, which is a digital custom portrait. In these, most facial features are left out to give the work a more minimalist type of feel. Doing it this way gives me more flexibility to add multiple pictures together and not have any “Photoshop fails”.

And I think that natural chic is very trendy right now because of influencers like Matilda Djerf etc. And most people want a neutral feed and not so many changes to their photos. I love this kind of trend! But all of my vacay filters are also very nice for those who travel a lot, want brighter colors, more tanned looked skin, etc.

… My bestsellers are my Procreate brush sets. Since Procreate has been widely adopted by illustrators as a go-to digital drawing software, the Procreate brushes became very popular illustrator resources. I used to buy lots of them myself until I learn to make them.

… Mel designs our prints, mainly using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Our nordic prints are our best selling products. We use 200gsm museum-grade archival art paper and our specialist printers provide a 100-year color guarantee for all our prints. Our frames are all hand-made to order with FSC regulated wood and the same goes for our mounts.

… Even if I sell other accessories such as wallets, the planner is my specialty. Customers know that they will find originality and beautiful materials like cork, which is loved by people who care about the health of our planet, animals, and society. But as cork is beautiful, it also pleases for its authentic look and deep colors. I also use imitation leather because it offers a fancy style, a sparkling look.

… My best selling products are my Wall Easels and Mahlsticks. So far all of the products I have created are made out of a hardwood. The Wall Easels are made of hardwood and what sets me apart is how I connect and hold the wood together. They are mounted to studs in the wall and are beyond sturdy. I have special rubber holders that help keep art pieces still. My Mahlsticks quickly took off as soon as I listed my first one.

… Since I opened up a new niche in 2010, it didn’t feel like diving into the competitive market and need a marketing strategy. Everything grew naturally until 2014 when my business went through the ceiling. Then all those copycats popped up since they learned that you can earn money with paper sculptures.

… I’m selling hand-painted tights. I named my brand TATUL. When worn the tights look like real tattoos. I developed my own approach based on old Asian techniques. The colors are deep and vivid, how exactly I make them is a secret but the process is quite time-consuming. I’m sometimes painting for hours and some designs take days to be finished.
