Our barn had fallen on them, and many I had to dig out of rotten boxes and dirt, but I shine them up and they are perfect. I started selling online because there is no market for these jars in rural MN, but also I also lived so far out, away from everything, I didn’t want to invite people to my home to purchase these either.
… We are working on wood. We work with pine trees, spruce trees, walnut, and many types of trees. I usually use AutoCAD for my drawings. I think there are a variety and color options that highlight my products. We also offer size and many customization options as we manufacture it entirely by ourselves.
… My best selling product is my custom drawn portrait. I use high-quality paper and a variety of art pencils. I believe my product stands out because I work carefully with each client. I can merge separate images into one beautiful portrait. So I can bring together loved ones who have passed or recreate beautiful memories.
… The most challenging part of running my business so far is that I also work a typical “9-5” job as a Project Manager. I’m passionate about my work there as well, so finding a balance between my many worlds can be a challenge. I have found that meditation helps me tremendously.
