… I’m Lisa and I’m specialized in doing embroidery and printing on textiles and accessories. My father is in this business for more than 30 years but because he is selling to big accounts the idea grows very fast to sell this product to end-users. All products we sell we stock also. We will never add a product to our collection without having stock in our company.

… My main products are things I originally made for myself but turned out nice enough to give me the confidence to start selling to people who like the same things that I do. Rhinestones have always caught my eye so wanting to work with them seemed natural and a learning lesson for the methods of adhesion For my custom handmade products I use AB rhinestones which I found the best to adhere to & shine.

… All of the grinders in my store are made out of high-quality aluminum, while the design on the top of the grinder has either been laser engraved or UV printed. I have spent many many hours going through different artist’s work on Instagram and other social media platforms looking for art designs for the tops of my grinders.

… We don’t have one best selling product as we offer custom printing and painting. In beginning, most sold products were from that time trends, but for now, custom requests from customers are about half from the business. I think that makes them stand out as we can produce any customer’s idea.

… I had no energy to do the daily things that I enjoyed doing around the house or interacting with my children. I started a daily regimen and started feeling like myself again within a week. I thought to myself if these products can help me, I know there are other moms that could benefit from them as well. I used the detox teas and was back to my pre-pregnancy weight within 30 days. … Our several different-sized face shields can be used by kids, teens, and adults. I use PET clear plastic, foam, and elastic. The plastic, foam, and elastic have to be cut to the correct size before you can attach the elastic. Our shields stand out for their brightly colored bands and the wide array of color choices, as well as the lightweight comfort of them.

… Spinning tops are my best selling item, especially around the holiday season. These are usually made from kiln dried Beech which I source from Germany. Beech has a nice straight grain which leads to well-balanced tops and takes colored inks and texture well. I also make a range of unique “Premium“ spinning tops incorporating both native and exotic timbers.

… I do all of my work using watercolor paints on paper. I then use those paintings to make art prints and cards. I also create designs using the paintings and print them on mugs, shirts, tote bags, and face masks. I print the paper items and mugs myself using a sublimation printer and heat press.

… We are preparing our new website (for the time being we are only active in ETSY) and we are planning our advertising campaign that will bring our products to a larger audience. Mass purchase of raw materials will bring a significant reduction in our main costs and thus increase profits.

… In the beginning, I had an idea but no sense of direction. Some of my earlier product listings were a bit all over the place LOL. My labeling wasn’t the best and I had not established a clear brand….but I did not let that stop me. My best piece of advice is to not let perfection get in your way. Yeah, my labels looked a mess, pictures were blurry, but I posted them and people actually bought them!
