Tell us something about yourself. What is your niche? Why did you start your business?

I’m Lisa and I’m specialized in doing embroidery and printing on textiles and accessories. My father is in this business for more than 30 years but because he is selling to big accounts the idea grows very fast to sell this product to end-users. All products we sell we stock also. We will never add a product to our collection without having stock in our company.

What type of products do you sell? How does your manufacturing process look like?

We sell all kinds of personalized textiles with embroidery or print and even the biggest part of our textiles are made in our own factory. For instance aprons, chef’s wear, beauty wear, bags and so much more we start from fabrics and control the total fabrication process till printing or embroidery.

What are some challenging aspects of your business? How did you overcome them?

The most challenging is the problems with transport and especially during covid19 but although we can’t control shipping we always stay together with our customers till they receive their order and this is giving a good feeling to our customers.

What do you enjoy most about being an entrepreneur? What’s the hardest about it?

It’s not only my work but it’s my hobby, my passion and if you do something you love it doesn’t feel like working even if you have to work 7 days a week but of course this is also sometimes the hard part of the job because having a lazy Sunday could be nice too 🙂

What are some beginner mistakes you made? What advice or words of inspiration would you like to share?

The biggest mistake I made, in the beginning, is that I started as a hobby and to change to a business on my had because of course although it’s my passion, running a business is totally different than doing it as a hobby.

What inspires you while designing and/or creating new products.

I always judge the products we make as I would buy it myself or not. I’m my most difficult customer.

How did you get the background and skills necessary to run this type of business?

My father was and still is the biggest support and teacher in my business and the internet keeps on learning and testing.

What are some of the most effective ways in terms of marketing products to your customers?

Paid publicity, good products, and competitive prices and trying to give the best customer service as possible and publicity made by our customers.

What would you say are the key elements for starting and running a successful online business?

Finding good products at competitive prices and being ready to work very hard.

How do you personally define business success? Is it money? Freedom? Influence? Creative expression and innovation? Something else?

I’m convinced you need to love what you are doing and try to become the best in what you do and I believe if you do a good job, the money will follow. Having a dream of passion.

Describe your day-to-day operation. How do you manage your time?

My time schedule is a kind of ritual, start with administration, followed by production, and ended by answering messages mails, and after all this makes planning for the next day. I believe very much in the expression, time is money and I get very irritated when I have the feeling I’m losing time.

How do you plan on growing your business? What is the biggest impact on your profitability?

Try to become the best in what I do and always trying to improve our business and hoping one day to have my own shop where our customers can see the whole personalization process. The biggest impact on our profitability is shipping costs and especially during covid19.

Anything you wish to add, feel free to do so here. We value your opinion
