… I am in a tough place right now. I outgrew my local manufacture and my business, Toms RiDICKulous Things, is too small to buy my own machines. I had to look to China… for now. As a machinist, I would love to bring it back here. I hope to buy my own machine in late 2021 and do it all myself. I have some more products coming out in spring 2021.

… We sell various forms of rock décor. Of course, our pieces include rocks, but we get to make the decision if it’s polished, how it’s cut, and what we make into it. A lot of times the piece kind of decides for us, some rocks are better for oil lamps, some are better for business card holders, while others might just be great as a stand-alone piece.

… We sell one product! Our Magidome connectors that allow you to build a versatile dome that fits your needs. We designed it on a cad program and have them inject molded for durability affordability. Magidome connectors don’t need fancy angles or carpentry skills. We try to make our product as simple and accessible as possible! Want a larger dome, simply use longer lumber! Simply cut to size, predrill and screw together!

… The organic chemistry stencil is our best-selling product. It was designed initially on paper, then redesigned in a 3d modeling program called AutoCAD. I chose to use polycarbonate as the material since it is very durable and transparent. The bright yellow color of our stencil helps it stand out from many of the other stencils on the market and in students’ backpacks.

… Working for ourselves has always been a passion. We’d prefer to work 100 hours for ourselves than 40 hours for someone else. The hardest part is managing all departments and scaling. It’s best to think of everything as a task to be completed as to not become overwhelmed.

… By far, my custom engraved wood guitar picks sell the best. I also sell other items such as bowls, vases, pocket knives, cutting boards, and more. But guitar picks have made up 70% of my sales for the past 7 years I’ve been doing this full time. My best seller has over 70 different wood types ranging from my backyard to all over the world.

… My best selling pipe is actually a pipe made with glass and aluminum. So it’s a glass pipe encased inside aircraft-grade machined aluminum making it this really cool tactical looking pipe people love. You don’t get the nasty aluminum taste when smoking from this pipe. The rest of our pipes are handblown glass anywhere from 4″ to 5 ” in length.

… The number one thing that draws people to our gaiters is our unique designs, the quality, and the ease of use. Since our focus is on health and fitness, our best selling products is our neck gaiters. We have a lot of endurance athletes that love our product, but many others have also found many uses with our multi-functional gaiters.

… Currently, I’m selling 100% cotton face masks and hand-beaded glass mask lanyards. Our lives have all been changed during the pandemic. My products are all made at my home by my own two hands in a clean pet free environment. I hope my creations help buyers feel safe & stylish!

… I am a true candle lover and I believe candle burning coupled with tantalizing fragrances is true aromatherapy! I started making candles as a hobby that helped calm my nerves and anxiety. I find it to be extremely rewarding and therapeutic on both ends – making them and burning them!
